Robert Burgin

Robert is currently Football Manager of the Brasil Rugby League World Cup 2021 program and holds a similar position with the Sunshine Coast Falcons Under 20s (affiliates of NRL team Melbourne Storm).

He has helped found rugby league in close to a dozen nations, was the main contributor for Rugby League Coaching Magazine for over a decade, and a reporter for Rugby League Week magazine for 20 years.

He has twice been employed in communications positions with the Queensland Rugby League. He played rugby league for 30 years, has been an active participant at various times in boxing, muay thai, athletics, cricket, and powerlifting, and held coaching credentials in six sports.
